  1. Yes, I agree that the back story is much more interesting. I was going to drop this book, then I grabbed it off the shelf and saw the scene with Zeus, and changed my mind (it’s a light week). Didn’t enjoy it and just feel like it’s a whole lotta characters and sub-plots going nowhere. Four issues in and the "league" was only together for one? I would enjoy and understand one of the JLA 80’s books more, and I hate DC! Hear lots of good things about Remender, but didn’t like Blackheart Billy and I don’t like this. It sure sounded like a good idea for a comic book, though. Now dropping it for real.

  2. This book has been nothing but ho-hummery for me.  I’m sticking on for a couple more issues because I love, love, love Canete’s art, and hopefully a monthly schedule will help the story breathe a little bit more.

  3. I found the art change mid-book to be so incredibly jarring I had to put it down.  I still haven’t gone back and finished reading it.  Canete’s art might be okay, but it’s so different in style!  Couldn’t they have gotten Broome to finish this issue and then switch?  Obviously not but it still bugged me.

    I don’t know if I can continue.

  4. Give Canete a chance.  His work on that Iron Man mini last year was spectacular.
