2 parts western, 2 parts eastern culture, 2 parts disaster capitalism and 2 parts biblical reference equals a review rating of 10.
The pages of this issue, as well as the 4 issues previous, are brilliant in clarity and stunning in simplistic line work and color.

Hickman and Dragotta, I am assuming, have read Naomi Campbel and Douglas Rushkof critiques of global market capitalism that is driven and manipulated by religion, traditions and natural and man made disasters.

A cowboy, death, an eastern dynasty and a venture capitalist are all after a youth that represents something different for each of them and thus makes for an interesting conflict. There is a bit of foreshadow in this issue which provides a pay off for readers who are in it for the long but beautiful journey.
