This series continues to rock. In just 4 issues, Hickman has created a rich and realistic world filled with some incredibly intriguing characters and a riveting storyline.

I’m not familiar with Nick Dragotta’s other work, but the aesthetic he brings to this book is pretty fantastic. His mix of Sci-fi and Old West designs has an almost steam-punky feel that scratches an itch I didn’t even know I had.

He doesn’t take shortcuts, either. Equal attention is given to his action and exposition scenes. Each panel is fully realized and thoughtfully plotted out, creating a book that flows smoothly from cover to cover.

My only complaint is the release schedule. In a world of double-shipping big-name books, the wait between each issue of this series is almost painful.
