Meh.

Certainly no reveal as to the identity of the new Batman…but we do know he KILLS.

I really didn’t like the art. The inking was sooo heavy. The coloring was uninteresting.

Why the Hell is Batman on the cover? This was an Atom story 80%.

Miracle Man and Big Barda make their debuts.

Just nothing special about this $5 book.

I don’t see myself continuing with this one after Robinson goes.

  1. I like your reviews. Short, to the point, and you cover all the major things about the issues you talk about.

And I WISH I would have read some reviews before plunking down my $5 on this book.

    • Hey, I”m glad you find the reviews helpful. I sometimes do write longer reviews than this, but I try not to be too negative or too gushing because to each his own.

I have a bad feeling that Earth 2 is really going to hit the toilet over the next few issues. Shame.

FYI – I do recommend the following titles currently: Daredevil, Hawkeye, Indestructible Hulk, X-O Manowar, Al Star Western (especially the last 2 issues, awesome), Deathmatch, Planet of the Apes Cataclysm.

Issue #1 of the Wake was pretty good (for 2.99), if not a bit predictable. The art was really good.

  2. not to Nit-Pick, but Mister Miracle and Big Barda had a ‘splash’ reveal in Earth 2 #11
