I usually really dig this book. But this issue really left me cold.
The fill in artist just wasn’t doing it for me at all. It felt so flat and boring. Which is a horrible misstep in an all out action issue.

 I would have rather had a late book than one with sub-standard art.

And the story felt sort of phoned in. The cleverness and fun of the previous issues was really absent this time around. And the twist didn’t really feel earned.

I’ve loved this arc until this issue.

Hopefully next month will be a return to form.
