I was more interested in watching Arkham deal with the inmantes in the cafeteria than I was reading about his interaction with Batman.  A lot of setup has gone into Arkham’s fall, but without a spectacular creative team, the story isn’t very exciting.  The art is good, but not Earth-shattering.  All in all, this is a very averagely good Batman story.  And, given the arcs that have preceded it, it’s very very boring.

Story: 3 - Good

  1. Yeah, I’ve only seen the preview for this book but I was wondering why Haun’s art was not as good as his prior efforts. There was a terribly boring B Clay Moore book he did a while that was pretty damn good looking.

  2. @NawidA: Yea, I don’t know.  It’s not in any way bad.  It’s just…not good.  Like the seventy-fifth consecutive issue of Sean Phillips art.  Yea, it’s technically ok, but it’s kind of flat.

Everyone has off *insert units of time here*.  Maybe this is just his.
