Greg Rucka has done it again! And by that I mean he manages to make an origin story just as exciting as the regular story.

Kathy and what appears to be her twin sister Beth aka Alice are shown to be army brats, but also still young girls at heart. We see Beth is the nice one and Kathy is the brash and impulsive one.

J.H Williams manages to change art styles to the point where I couldn't believe he did the flashbacks and the current story.

And if that wasn't good enough, we see that Kate's childhood did not end well!

The best bonus is the Question Co-Feature which wrapped up it's story. Although it often gets shadowed by the Batwoman story, Rucka's work on this Question Co-Feature continues to be solid. This tale had a definite beginning, middle and end. And it was satisfying! This truly read like a detective story and I hope to see more as the book goes on!
