Well, this was my most highly anticipated comic in a very slow week, and I was not dissapointed. While I did enjoy Secret Six more, this issue was quite fun to read. I am glad that Dini ditched doing more uniteresting, and frankly, boring Hush origins, and just focused on keeping the story moving. Our tale begins with a very depressed Tommy Eliott (Hush) about to jump off a bridge, after being robbed blind by catwoman in the last issue. I loved this. This was so gritty and real, and I must say it is something I have never seen before. He jumps, and (of course) is rescued by fishermen. Hush is still desguised as Bruce wayne, and most of the rest of the issue chronicles Hush masquerading as Bruce and clawing his way back to the top. This was also fantastic. A sequence of Hush picking up a widow, and then swiftly murdering her, is the most I have ever liked the character. Then, he is captured by a gang of Catwoman's who is in Vietnam for some reason. Ahh nuts. I was not a fan of this ending. I'm sure that this could be explained in the next issue, but it brought the story to such an abrupt and strange halt. I think that if the goal was to get Hush captured by catwomen, he should have been kidnapped in a more public place, where people like Selina may hear of his whereabouts. In any event, this was an all around enjoyable issue.
