The siege of Little Spring comes finally to its climactic conclusion, and but for the fact that it took until DEMON KNIGHTS #7 to get here, it’s pretty awesome.

The script finds time for every one of the major characters to shine – save, perhaps, for Al Jabr – in the chaotic, gore-filled final battle. The seven heroes stand against the horde and the Questing Queen herself. A lot of action happens.

There’s some really superb epic panels in here, and though it’s maybe taken a while for me to realize this, the art has just done so much to bring out the sheer bigness of this kind of fantasy. I want more of that.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
