It’s been five issues.

Could something HAPPEN now? Please?

This book is so decompressed its like watching the last act of a medevil seige film, where the scrappy team of thrown-together heroes are waiting for the final confrontation with the big bad magic overlords, only what would take MAYBE 10 minutes of screen time is taking 5 MONTHS of our time. I like Paul Cornell, and Diogenes Neves art is great, but every time I new issue of this series comes out, I’ve forgotton a little more of what the overall point of this book was in the first place. I’m starting to wonder why I keep coming back. Oh, that’s right-the characters. If we could get a little more of them and a little less of, “To the ready! We must prepare for the slowly advancing attack of The Horde!”, I’d be less inclined to drop this book.

While I’m at it, wouldn’t it be cool if Exoristos turned out to be Wonder Woman? That would be interesting, at least.
