There was a time, when I was in high school, where every character was a post modern stone cold bad ass. They all looked like Spawn, and didn’t have time to bleed. It was pretty cool, but it got sort of old real quick.

Deathstroke #1 is like a time machine to that time. If I was in junior high or high school, I would think it was pretty cool, I suppose.

it’s not bad. the art is decent, if very very reminiscent of that that time period in my eyes. the story is actually fairly decent. It’s just not for me.

I would give it 3 stars out 5. A little above average.

I most likely won’t be reading it after the first arc, but if you like the spawn era, or stone cold bad ass assassins, you might dig it.
