I didn’t like the last issue of Deadpool as much as everyone else did. This issue I felt about the same. You really notice Tony Moore’s absence. I find it really hard to enjoy this book without him. I want to like it, but there’s nothing I could grasp on to. Deadpool has to kill 4 near invulnerable people is the main story, which would be fun if the target of the month wasn’t a stereotypical guido. I don’t like the placement of Agent Preston inside Wade’s mind. I would be just fine if she had died and never appeared in comics again. Now there’s another subplot to find her another body and get her out of Wades head. Then last couple pages start another subplot that a group of people have been harvesting organs from Deadpool. The art, which is done by Mike Hawthorne, seems like it’s trying to resemble Moore’s style but not quite succeeding. I’ve been reading Deadpool for a while and I think this incarnation is no longer my cup of tea.
