This is the Deadpool that we fans need. I was this close to dropping this but I said to myself, “I will pick up this issue to see how it starts off and if it’s bad I’m done.” But when Evil Deadpool lit a guy on fire and kicked him off a flying airplane I rejoiced! What makes this issue fun is that it starts with Evil Deadpool being the ultimate badass the original should be and then it cuts to the original Deadpool being all guilty about the Doc and her crazy suicide. Then it cuts back to Evil Deadpool to outdo Deadpool’s badassery. This issue is like the senior at college that was the coolest guy around, then a freshmen comes in and he becomes more popular and everyone forgets about the senior dude. Salva Espin’s art is too much cartoony for me. Usually I like the cartoon style, like Humberto Ramos, but like how Evil Deadpool is not only better in attitude than Deadpool he’s also better in attention to art detail. Because Evil Deadpool has stitches and numerous different costumes it’s like Espin is forced to add more detail, but for everybody else it’s kinda amateur. I’m glad Evil Deadpool came around because if not there’d be one less person to watch Wade die in the oncoming comics.
