This story arc reminds me of what Hollywood did to Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Daniel Way put Wade in a box which cuts cancels out Deadpool’s comedy and wit on his surroundings and actions. In the art I found it odd that Deadpool becomes a little bit more muscular than I would imagine him even though a page before he’s dreaming and he’s fat. Also as Deadpool describes Dr. Whitby as being ugly I don’t see this until she’s in a close up so she could have been drawn a bit harder to look at. The best part of this finale in the story arc is the Oceans Eleven esque breakout. This arc was entertaining at times and boring at more times. Instituionalized gets a 3.5 out of 5 from me.
