I actually loved this story. I have been incredibly disappointed with Slott's ASM issues as I thought his Human Torch Spidey mini was the best Spidey story in about a decade, or at least the most fun. This is the first story since then that didnt' seem like he was trying to fix or explain something. I really liked how Pete was saying the same stuff I had been about the unbelievable stupidity that has to be going on in the Marvel Universe in order to give Osborn the pass he's been getting. It's just mind boggling. This week's Electro story is along the same lines, but that's neither here nor there. I'm glad Pete caught him doing something so atrocious that he shouldn't be able to sweep it under the rug. Of course, the way that the people of the MU are being written short of Norman actually doing this on Larry King, it seems like they might be able to over look it. Regardless, if this brings Norman out of his Government phase I'll be happy.

As for the art I loved the 2 page spreads and how they seemed to be used to great dramatic effect. Just really playing with page lay out was what I missed from the Kubert bros.

I think the line about wrapped in a flag pin was awesome. And I loved the ending. I'm still a little giddy from it.
