I have to say as a direct sequal to the excellent Brian K Vaughns limited series this series is reminding me why the Hood was a kick ass bad guy.  In this series, the writer Jeff Parker  is crafting a great story to bridge the gap between Vaughns series and Brian bendis New avenger story. I dont know about anyone else but as I was entertain with bendis run I was annoyed that I did not know the why to the Hoods new demon transformation. Parker now answers that nagging question and gives the Hood a tragic almost shakespearan story.
