As much as I wanted to hate this series, Jeff Parker does a real good job in crafting a great story..One thing to remeber this series is a sequal to Brian K Vaughs limited series and also a prequel to brian Michael bendis current run on New Avenegers.  This story is about the Hoods decent into Darkness and his realization that he is changing both physically and mentally. The art is great and the random pop ins of  random villians keep the story interesting.  also, unlike other dark reign titles i actually look forward to the next issue.
