So far, Waid’s run on Daredevil has been both fun and engaging. Both of the artists involved have been a perfect match for the feel of the book and the story pops right along with the visuals. Waid definitely wanted to take Daredevil in a different direction and the new tone of the book is both fresh and fun, that doesn’t minimize the danger, but it’s nice to read Daredevil and not be depressed afterward. This is going to be something worth pulling as long as Waid, Martin, and Rivera are on board.
