Pardon my French, but, holy shit that was a great issue! Beautiful Allred art, and a touching story about 2 best friends. For all the critics out there who felt as though this title was losing a little of its “fun” and becoming darker and more melodramatic, well worry no more. This issue was over the top, funny, heartfelt, and action packed.my only gripe would be that I wish Mike Allred was the series full time artist cause he absolutely killed it. Do yourself a favor and get on board with this issue. Like Matt said at the end of the issue, “I’m a winner,” well so are we all for being given the gift of this title by Waid and company.
