This book reads too quickly. I love Brubaker’s run so far, but there is
barely any meat on this bone. Didn’t we already get the reveal that
Fisk was using the Owle as a go between for the Hand? The fact that
Matt’s friends are doubting the wisdome of cutting themselves off from
Matt’s self destructive spiral kind of irks me. I know they’ve been
friends for a long time, but Foggy needs to cut ties with Murdock until
he’s willing to listen to reason. I expect a huge battle in the next
issue’s anniversary extravaganza. I loved the art in this book. It’s so
gritty you can almost feel the grime. I love how every character looks,
especially Lady Bullseye. There is a perfect synchronization between
writer and artist on this book.
