Emo Daredevil is gone.  Or at least put on hold.

That’s really all you need to know about the book.  It’s the great Daredevil that Ed Brubaker gave us at the start of his run, with a little Greg Rucka magic added in.  It seems like it’s been years of Matt crying about this or that, and to have him finally get on with his life is something really refreshing.

I don’t know what we have to give Greg Rucka to stick around, but this is a great reunion of the Gotham Central team.  Granted it’s not quite as unique or original an idea as Gotham Central was, but this sort of street level mystery is right up the alley of both Rucka and Brubaker.  This is their wheelhouse, and they’re clearly masters here.  The story is tight, moves forward well and as I (and everyone else on the internet mentioned) gives us a Daredevil we actually wouldn’t mind being around.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
