Danger Club is easily the best new super hero book of the year. I am afraid that this limited series will not get picked up as an ongoing title and that would be a big mistake for Image. In the event that the creative team needs omore time to put together and plot out an ongoing title, I can appreciate that. However, it would be a comic crime for this series to end after a few issues. There is an enormous amount of potential for this series. In a day and age where super heros are having a harder and harder time appealing to younger and older readers alike – Danger Club succeeds where so many others have failed. If you enjoy super hero comics – pick up this series. If you enjoyed Frank Miller’s Dark Knight, pick up this series. If you are reading Snyder’s run on Batman and enjoy it, pick up Danger Club. This book is in the company of great titles becasue it is a great title. It has amazing art and a story that will pull you in, keep you guessing and most of all keep you interested an anxious for the next issue. Danger Club may be a sleeping giant. With a low print run on issue number one, this book very well may be the next Chew. It is without question tens times better than Thief of Theives and every other hot new image title other than Saga which is so different than Danger Club it is impossible to compare the two books.
