As a child of the 90's I started reading comics right in the middle of the Image boom and of all the titles I could randomly grab from the discount bin in my local walmart Cyber Force was far and away 8 year old me's favorite series, and I fully admit it was for all the wrong reasons. When I heard that kickstarter was funding a new cyber force series I almost jumped out of chair, while I couldn't afford to kick it any money at the time I would gladly pay the outrageous 3.99 price tag for this series today no questions asked. The new series has been a grim and gritty reboot of a grim and gritty 90's series. Getting everything that was fun about the original series while actually being it's own decent and coherent story in it's own right. With this issue revealing the villains master plan to nuke Old Faithful and destroy the earth to repopulate it with a new race of techno-organic nanobots along with a ret-con connecting the series two most identifiable characters, Stryker and Velocity, (Guy with three arms on one side and Girl with white skin and green leotard with a lightning bolt on her eye) as Father and Daughter. The series that made me a Life Long Marc Silvestri continues it's secret Renaissance that is just too good to charge money for.
