A monthly double size that has a Palmioti and Grey post-apocalyptic romp in a titular “American Muscle” car, and an absolutely beautiful Bourne/Bond-esque spy story called “Triggergirl 6” by Phil Noto? Fantastic!

All the artists and writers involved are bringing their A games for this one and it shows.

Although, I could do without the ten pages of letters, essays, statements of intent, and convention pics at the end that began to seem feel like padding.

Story: 4 - Very Good

    i got the credits to “American Muscle” wrong. Steve Niles is the writer. Palmiotti and Grey are the writers on “Triggergirl 6” with Noto on art.

    Thanks for the review, I might just go out this weekend and pick up this book and give it a try. I’m a sucker for new things, and by your review it sounds interesting. Should have picked it up yesterday.

    I agree with you about all the bullshit @ the end of the book, except the trigger girl photoshoot which was quite cool
