I’ve only ever read last summer’s Simpson crossover comics, and haven’t been a loyal watcher of the show for nearly a decade, but there’s a rumor that Comic Book Guy is based on one of my coworkers, so I felt I should read this issue to learn more about what he does during his copious free time.  In that respect, this issue failed, but in many other ways I quite enjoyed it.  I especially like that it had three variant covers all stapled inside the main cover.  Brafuckenvo.

The story read like a solid first act of the show, and the art looked mostly like, you know, The Simpsons, although Bart looked like wiggly Tracey Ullman/Season one Bart.
