The Circle was one of those titles that I picked up on a whim; the premise seemed interesting and I liked Brian Reed.  Seems like it could be good.  After reading through the first three issues, I was enjoying, but this issue really amped up the series.  If this storyline is any indication, I think we may have another hit esponiage book on our hands.

The action really picks up this issue as the two main characters fight for their escape while international governments try to stop the rogue enemies from stealing the mysterious “Goliath Weapon.”  The book really grabs your attention with all of the action taking place, and you feel like you’re watching the climax of a popcorn action flick.  I don’t want to give away too much, but trust me, it’s crazy good times.

The art just continues to improve in this book as Ian ( I forget his last name) continues to refine his style.  It really fits the book well, and adds a touch of realism to the frantic action.  Each character is defined, which is important for a book that jumps around in both time and place.

It may seem premature to say, but if Reed and Ian can keep the tempo going and continue to improve this series, we may just have another The Losers on our hands.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
