Nocenti and struck the final nail for me. Gone is the fun, sexy, and cunning Selina I grew to love in Judd Winick’s first 12 issues. Nocenti’s Catwoman as well as Sandoval’s art just feels wrong to me. There’s no sense of energy and movement like there was was Winick and March were on the book and I just cannot get past Selina looking like an elf in half the book. This is a Catwoman I have no interest reading. I will add this series to all the other new 52 titles I’ve dropped after what seemed like a refreshing change.

  1. I’m also about to drop this along with Batgirl and ACTION. I’m still reading nearly 20 New 52 titles 16 months in though. I wouldn’t call that a failure..

  2. This review is an exhibit of where DC stands right now. Beautiful start with the new 52. Dreadful follow through. My pull went from 10 to 0. Who at DC is accountable for this dreadful disastrous turn?

  3. Worst part of this book right now is the art. The whole time I was wondering what was going on with Selina’s elf ears.

  4. After having read the previews for this, and Green Arrow that Nocenti wrote, I seriously wonder how she gets work. She’s even worse than J.T. Krul. Winick’s run was a pleasant surprise. Maybe a bit corny at times, but it was good. This….this is just bad.
