I read the whole book. Had to do it twice. On both times the thing that i remember the most are the stripping, ropes on tight places and awkward kissing. The story was leading me to a direction but by the end i felt it got nowhere. The art was very well rendered but the story-telling on the panels are very confusing which is why i had to read it again to just understand what happened on the panels. I heard a lot of good stuff about catwoman a few months back but now it’s sad to say that its just a “skin” of its former self.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good

Comments

  1. The good stuff you heard was tied to Judd Winnick’s writing. The book has fallen off the cliff since the writer change.

  2. I agree with you about the story 100%, the only difference was that I didn’t read it twice. I honestly don’t know what was going on! If it weren’t for the Death of the Family tie in I wouldn’t buy Catwoman any more.

  3. I feel you were being too polite giving the story an ‘average’. With all the torture and stripping of Selina for what felt like the entire issue I was just done. I even called DC to cancel my subscription.
