The “A Perfect Jumping-on Point” phrase can be trusted with this new story arc for the much confused comic book that is Captain Marvel.

The art is a welcome change from the previous first issues although it retains the non-conventional aspect of it. Andrade’s art reminds me of Eon Flux and the story telling is derivetive of a sort of European dynamism, both giving the book a distinct feel. The dialogue is very natural and you immediately know that its actually women talking between panels. Compliments to DeConnick in that regard. I would certainly stay for the slice-of-life feel of the book so long as it can keep the stakes reasonable. (like what we could see in the last page)

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
