This issue made this book! I really enjoy the pacing of this book. Really giving you time to let the time travel and the gender roles that were in play at the time sink in, but now they are getting to the meat of the story. And with that they finally switched artists! Emma Rios’ art is awesome and does this character justice! I, personally, thought Dexter Soy’s art was a very ill fit for the book and while I commend him for keeping up with this book, Emma Rios’s art is soo good! Please stay forever Emma! Love it! Also, it seems like they finally figured out what to do with the covers.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. Agreed…I felt like it took a little too long to get the point with the Time Travel trappings, but now that we’re getting to the heart of it, I’m all in.

And yes, the art seems much better suited. I thought Soy was doing really interesting stuff, but it didn’t really work with this story, at least for me.
