  1. I bought the first onw on a whim, cuz was a low week and thoroughly enjoyed it. This one is icing on the cake. For some reason, I’m liking the fantasy or magic aspect and tone of it, maybe cause it meshes well with the super hero aspect. The fact that is all within the parameters of Secret Invasion, makes it even more of a feat to pull off and the writer sure is doing that. I’ll probably keep buying this after SI, if it continues. Yay Brits! And magic! And Lennon Skrull!

  2. This is great.  the book is really ingraning itself into the Aurtherian legend is awsome.  it probly doesnt hurt that i am currently reading aurtherian legend for some light reading at the same time.  it is fun to see the actual legend ingrained with the comic.

  3. I absolutely one-hundred percent agree! I picked up the first issue because, well, Captain Britain by the team on Wisdom??? How could that go wrong? First issue was typical setup, but this issue leaps off the pages. The feelings I had with this book is what I should be feeling reading Bendis’ main SI book. I’ve been a long time fan of the Brtish writers, but never really thought about that connection before now. Cornell is really working the dichotomy between US and UK and I loved it. The scenes with the Skrulls just taking down all the magical legends, Lady of the Lake, Green Knight, and getting all the magical items was great! I cannot wait for the next issue. There’s so many things to like about this issue! I can’t reccomend it enough.

Oh yeah. Agreed. Bendis is missing out if this Magic thing is not at least mentioned in the other book.
