I don’t know why I bought this series. It only marginally worked as a tie-in for “Death of Spider-Man” and the series seemed wildly uneven and this issue failed to tie everything together. It’s a big action set-piece comic, but it fails to tie the story together it just seems like a series of random events strung together. There was a bit of lip service paid to the Spider-Man’s death, but it didn’t hit the emotional chords like Ultimate Fallout. All in all, this was a nice series to look at, but didn’t tell a good coherent story, nor did it serve as a companion to “Death of Spider-Man”. A lackluster ending to a plodding, unfocused mini-series.
