I have for the last couple years, been afraid NOT to pick up a first issue of an Image comic. A lot of those times it paid off, some I appreciated they’re directions and basic ideas, but resolved that it was not for me. This was shockingly not for me. It was not for me on a cosmic scale.

The main antagonist chides:

“It’s actually almost breaking my heart that I have to kill you Rock.”

“Except that it’s really not.”

The dialogue and plot feels like, based on the success of Axe-Cop, they tried a similar experiment with an 11 year-old writer.

I just don’t understand why this is a thing.
