Y'know, don't get me wrong, I love that Oz is back, especially since I
hated Tara. However, this is yet another case of the damn cover giving
away the last pages.
Actually this issue felt a lot like it was back on TV. And by back on TV I mean that the series feels like it took a break because of the writer's strike they came back, subsequently forgot what they were doing, except for broad strokes and just went with a new status quo.
Even discounting Oz, this issue brought back a lot of cast members, and killed a fair amount of background slayers. Seriously, those girls are becoming red shirts at this point.
Was there a point to the Andrew scene?
Hell, was there a point to Faith and Giles other than to make them regular supporting characters instead of out on their own?
The art was fine, but not even remotely worth the wait.
