I’m a little conflicted on this title. While still on issue 6, we get more of the “man out of his element” story, but it still feels like the story is building. The art is really good, don’t get me wrong. It’s just, there’s something about this title that gives me the impression that for $3.50 I should be getting a little more bang for my…dollar.

Buck Rogers is by no means a bad comic. It’s one of the few re-imaginings that work. And I’ve been on board since the great zero issue. Perhaps that’s my problem. The Buck in the preview issue is already accustomed to this change in lifestyle. The Buck we’re still getting to learn is far from that man.

I’m on the fence whether or not I should stay, especially with it’s hefty price tag, but for what’s it’s worth this issue was a great jumping on point for new readers and expresses exactly the fun science fiction this book is all about.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
