Finally, we get back to the Aquaman story! That Black Manta reveal in the first issue has kept me coming back every two weeks! This week's issue dealt mainly with the progression of the Aquaman and Martian Manhunter stories. Both were solid, but it still feels like I just keep getting appetizers and never a full meal. However, I'm certain this will be awesome in tpb form. Another thing to note is that, if Krull's current Green Arrow ongoing was as much of a disappointment to you as it was to me, you should pick this up for some Grade-A Oliver Queen action. He's not as broody/whiny as he is in the other books (Thanks Cry for Justice) and is back to being his normal quip-py self. I especially loved the nod to Star Wars VI!
The art seemed kinda muddled this time, particularly Reis' stuff in the rain. Gleason was pretty solid though!

Can Johns take over G.A please?
Tell me about it man! I actually think Tomasi handled him here, so I’d b ok with him too…However, I adamantly believe that Bryan Q. Miller should write GA, since I love GA on smallville and he writes for smallville! Thoughts?
@RKB – Seconded. Batgirl is a gem of a book, and I feel like he’d bring that same spark to poor ol’ Uncle Ollie.
@RKB – I also agree that Miller could handle Ollie. I love what he’s doing with Batgirl; it has the right combination of grounded (realistic) action and quipy humor. Those are the same qualities that GA needs to be successful, too.
