I really enjoyed this issue.  I don’t read alot of JMS stuff but i picked up this title begining with the last issue.  The last issue was lackluster but this one was much more tasty.  This kinda starts like many issues we’ve all read before.  A mishap with a laser sends Barry Allen back in time to the middle of The Battle of the Builge and a group of Nazis soldiers, and shortly Barry meets up with the Blackhawks.

I won’t go into any more detail but there are some powerful moments as Barry struggles between his hero status and personal code of ethics and the horrors of war. And the Siaz art is very good as per usual.

Best thing about Brave and the Bold is that it is basically one shots and there is no comittment to a story arc.  Pick this up and you won’t be disappointed!

  1. You say this is tasty, well… I am very hungry and can either buy 3 BK 1/4 double cheeseburgers for $3 or this issue for $3. Which will be more filling and also which more tasty?
