Another solid issue. Booster moves on to the next stage of his mission, while his sister Michelle realizes she’s in the wrong place at the wrong time. There are those that accuse Booster Gold of spinning its wheels, but this series has shown significant movement since it’s first issue. Jurgens has laid out clues to a mystery we’re not even aware of yet and his art only supports his strong writing.

Blue Beetle moves on as well in his Co-Feature/Back-Up. We’ve been given hints this was coming for a long time now. Something is eating away at Jaime, but this issue it all comes to a head, and it’s not a nice place to be.

Booster Gold is a strong title that doesn’t get enough recognition, but in a strange way I’m glad about that. It’s that great title you’re not reading, and if you were reading it, I have a feeling the book would take a different feel. A strange thing to say, I know, but think about it.

    Sadly it has.

Giffen takes over with the ‘Bwah Hah Hah" soon.

Which may be better for the title’s long run but I will miss Jurgen’s Booster.

I am glad I hopped on with #21, I think I got to read the characters hihest point to date with these issues.
