So they've finally started those back ups, which is pretty cool, but
I'll get to them soon enough.
The Booster part of this issue was really good.
I really hope Black Beetle sticks around as a villain for a good long while. Granted the shadow pretty much gave it away about three seconds after it was shown, but that really didn't matter. Much like the evil leaper in the last season of Quantum Leap, he's an interesting counter balance to all the good that Booster accomplishes.
I think Jurgens is doing some great stuff with the art. He might not always write an engaging Booster story, but he draws him rather dynamically.
I hope this arc confirms that Ted is back, but if not I guess I can deal.
As for the back up, it was fine.
I liked the giant robot he fought.I wish they weren't broadcasting that it's the daughter of the guy in prison so damn loudly, but it was great to see solo Jaime again.
I hope that the back ups grow into something more than glorified action sequences, but as a start I feel it's acceptable.
