Previously this book has been very strong, but as with many books Geoff John’s absence is being felt here. Not that this is necessarily a bad issue, or even story arc, but I think some of the uniqueness of this series has faded. There’s very little humor showcased in this issue and the villain and the plot don’t feel all that weighty. Perhaps it may be time to leave the time-travel concept for a little while and get into what makes Booster Gold all Booster-y.

The Dan Jurgens pencils are pretty strong, but not really enough to support the book on its artistic merits.

Personally, this book has gone from one of my favorites to a rather hum-drum super-hero book. It’s not a drop book yet, but I don’t recomend this current stuff for any new readers either.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good
