I’ve never read Body Bags. I remember seeing it comic shops in the 90’s but I never picked it up. I know nothing of Jason Pearson. Nor am I familiar with anything he’s done that I know of.

But boy howdy was this fun. It feels very much like a throwback sensibility of Big R-Rated, foul-mouthed Action flicks of the late 80’s and 90’s.  It’s great to see Big Action in comics. I feel there’s been so little of it in comics of late. I enjoy decompressed story-telling as much as the next guy. But every now and again it’s nice to see A Cheerleader jump on to a moving Helicopter, Pop a bullet in the pilot’s brain, and send it’s blades slicing into a bunch of Henchmen.
