• Action
• It’s Funny
• Ig Guara’s art is perfect for the tone
• You find yourself identifying with Jaime’s plight…even though he’s a teenager with alien technology grafted into his body
• The cliffhanger is interesting:

The Blood Beetle is back!

Fun stuff that’s not too dark but has great action, humor and the story is really starting to get texture.

      I”m with you. It’s not in danger of being cancelled based on sales as far as I can tell, but I think the comic reading publich has a misperception of it as a “teen” book, or something. Bedard/Guara are quite enjoyable together on BB. This would make a kick-ass animated series if drawn by Guara.

    I had the same thought that this would make a great animated series or movie. *hint hint Bruce Timm* That being said having BB in Young Justice Season 2 has been great getting this character out there in the public. Now its time for those of us who read comics to take notice of this title and stop wishing this title was the past, or being disappointed its not everything we wanted right off the bat it’ll get there if creators are given the time. This book is enjoyable to me lets hope its enjoyable to anyone who gives it a chance.
