Some people said that this issue marked a slight lull in the story. I disagree. This issue was fantastic. I am by no means a Firestorm expert, but with the little intro scene between the couple (Gen and Jason), I was definitely on the verge of tears when the Black Lantern Firestorm ...well, I don't want to say because it's so moving. Oh Geoff, how dost thou write such great dialogue? I'm glad we are finally moving away from Green Lantern and Flash fighting Black Lanterns left and right to some actual planning and story progression. I must say, however, that the inclusion of the Indigo tribe seemed kinda forced and only served to give some back story on the different lights of the universe. Oh yeah, and it was mighty convenient that the Indigo tribe knows that all the lights together will supposedly take care of the Black Lanterns. I wish these guys had been introduced earlier in the series. I might be too quick to judge though, since Geoff Johns has yet to disappoint me.
