It was worth the wait.  It was worth the slow unfolding of an entire superhero universe.  It was worth bringing back golden age heros and giving them new life.  The book was worth the title Black Terror.

Wow, for PSP fans the Black Terror finally has his own ongoing starting with issue #5 due to a BT 4 issue mini.  Before we get into the book lets talk about Alex Ross’ cover which iFanboy didn’t post, amazing!  Ross puts the BT in place of the president on Lincoln’s Monument, perfect for this issue, fitting for it’s Veteran’s Day release, coincidental that the book begins at Fort Hood, Texas – location of the recent terrorist shootings.

The narration is great, and parralels feelings of today’s own political climate.  The fighting is wonderful, but the ending makes the whole issue worth while (even though every page is great).  Pick this issue up even IF you haven’t read anything PSP before. 5 star.
