Darrrrrrk Vennngeannce!!! Misfit kicks ass! Fantastic issue. I was rather worried that losing Gail Simone on this title would spell certain death, but McKeever has a grip on these characters...too bad to see it's his last issue. I hope Tony Bedard manages to keep this book as strong as it has been. I have no complaints about the art or this issue. Nicola Scott's artwork is gorgeous and I think I'd be happy to see Hazelwood ink just about anything, they complement each other well. The full page splash with Misfit porting from one villain to the next was a beautiful thing. The tension in this issue is real and engaging, the new villains left me wanting more and the sisterhood portrayed by this group of women is touching and it really is the glue that holds this group together. I'm curious to know about what Visionary showed Manhunter...what a creepy, uncomfortable scene. You feel Oracle's helplessness, you feel Manhunter's fear, and you feel Misfit's glee at being given the opportunity to kick some ass. Can't wait to see more Gangly Man and Mind Bullet, I love this series!!! I can't wait for Manhunter to come back in June, she's been off the radar waaaayyyyy too long.
