I have made every issue of Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre my pick of the week and this is no exception. I think this series stands out as the best of the Before Watchmen comics. It’s not only good enough to do justice to Alan Moore’s masterpiece, no small feat in and of itself, but it also expands and greatly improves Laurie. This series took one of the lesser realized characters in Watchmen and gave her a unique voice. This series has been one of the finest I’ve ever read and I’m sad to see it go.
