Rorschach is the one character in this crew who I’d actually want to follow month after month in a regular series. Lucky for me that’s how the first two issues in this miniseries have felt. The story is straightforward and hits all the notes you would expect from the character, in a style that feels off the drug store rack. The art is what vaults this into higher territory. Bermejo nails NYC in all its seventies grime the bone crunching ultra violence we expect from our psychopath protagonist.
