The latest issue of Dr. Manhattan did not disappoint. In fact, I think it’s the best so far. This really explains so well how a being as omnipotent as Dr. Manhattan was so willing to follow the agendas of others and remove himself from the game in Watchmen. The parallels of Schrodinger’s cat and a young Jon Osterman hiding in a box on the wagon were a great juxtaposition. So was having Dr. Manhattan be the quantum observer, affecting his own outcome, and the subject in an unknown quantum state. Of course, the Adam Hughes art was gorgeous. I particularly liked how scenes from different eras were given a unique appearance. Can’t wait to see how it all winds up.
Art: 5 - Excellent
