  1. I just realized I wrote “my” instead of “by”, does anyone know how to edit your review after you’ve posted it?

  2. “Two Months Ago: I wish I would have dropped this book. One Month From Now: I’ve dropped a book I was incredibly excited about five months ago.”

    Heh. Yeah.

Good review, man. The time-jumps are ridiculous, pointless, and unnecessary. This technique is adding nothing to the book, and if frustrating to read. For a while I was thinking I’d just go back and try to read everything in chronological order, but at this point I don’t even care to.

I have a subscription to this, and I’m not reading many other DC books, so I’m just going to stick it out until JH gets back on art. Hopefully the artist change next month will make some sort of positive difference.

    • I meant “IS frustrating to read”, not “if frustrating to read”.

No, I don’t know how to edit posts either. IFanboy really should add that.

  3. Thanks flapjaxx, it’s my first review, so it’s nice to have some comments too. As for editing, I proof read it and just before I clicked publish I saw my mistake! argh.

    • Yeah, that happens to me, too. For whatever reason, I notice a lot more mistakes after something’s published than before. Almost like how people are better finding mistakes in printed essays vs. Word documents.

  4. 1? That’s harsh! I love the way “To Drown the World” is being told; the shocking twist could come from anywhere at any point in time. Too bad Amy Reeder is leaving, that was quite a short stint. I am eager to see what happens to Bette, and how all the pieces come together.
