I have no idea why this arc is being told non-linearly. I don’t see anything the story gains from it. Which is too bad, because I think some stories can make good use of that device, and I think THIS story could be really enjoyable without it.

Reeder’s art is attractive. I like it better than a lot of the art in a lot of the other books I read each month. It isn’t JHW3’s, though. That’s the problem with following such a strong start.

These are basically the same gripes I had with last month’s issue. There’s really not much else to say, besides the fact that I do take some delight in the creepiness of Batwoman’s supernatural rogues gallery. While Batman fends off Gotham’s crazies, she battles its ghosts – sometimes quite literally.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. Yea. I agree. I love the supernatural feel to this book.

  2. It does seem to be taking you on some pointless in-depth up the garden path of Batwomans’ world & the characters in-it. The art is nice, but as it seems everyone agrees it is no J.H.Williams III.
I’m afraid til this story arc has come to an end & read in its entirety it will seem patchy, but still good.
